At last, just before 2025 stats, the 4th and final lecture on quantum foundations is on youtube. This time, it is about Bohmian mechanics aka de Broglie-Bohm theory

In the unlikely event that you have nothing to do during your vacations, I finally put online the third (out of 4) lecture on the foundations of quantum mechanics. This time, I introduce collapse models :

Dans @PourlaScience de septembre, je parle des réseaux de tenseurs, une méthode de compression classique en compétition avec l'ordinateur quantique pour certains calculs difficiles

Just after the presentation at #assc27 the paper is finally out! https://t.co/wOsaVGZQl6
Congrats to @Basak__TURKER ! Best of luck in the next stage of your career. I'm sure you'll keep rocking!
Can you tell which of your eyes is responsible for your visual perception? In our latest paper @clalunghi , @SamuelRecht, and I studied how attentional training can help people tell which of their eyes sees an image. 1/8 https://t.co/CVzO6ldmhH
Supporting this idea, we found that participants who were able to sense a strain in one of their eyes tended to perform better on eye-of-origin discrimination. Other reported strategies did not reliably help performance. 8/8

Confidence ratings about the eye-of-origin judgments also improved after the training. We think that these findings suggest a high-level learning mechanism, possibly basing inferences on subtle sensory cues such as luminance or convergence differences. 7/8
So happy to share our last paper, work of the fantastic @izeldsari, in collaboration with @SamuelRecht.

We show that performance in utrocular discrimination can improved after a short learning based on attentional cue.

1/ Our new preprint is out! With @jdsitt , @dragamana and @MmeJeanserre , we show that brain connectivity patterns typical of conscious states and that diminish with loss of consciousness, enhance conscious processing of auditory stimuli in wakefulness!

#eNeuro: Results from @izeldsari & @clalunghi@lsp_ens@Cognition_ENS suggest a connection & unilateral interaction among visual, working memory, & motor plasticity, implying a global regulation of local neuroplasticity in the adult brain for homeostasis. https://t.co/22mwoayITi
Le manque de professionnalisme et l'inefficacité de nos services d'immigration sont une honte pour la France. Même en réglant le problème maintenant, il faudra des années pour se remettre des profonds dégâts réputationnels.
