This spring, university professors found themselves teaching students online, young people facing unprecedented upheaval in their lives and education. Here's how we went virtual and worked with instructors to empower these future scientists. https://t.co/MPNKiVodhv
Drugs to treat scleroderma often fail in clinical trials because measuring efficacy relies on a skin-pinch test. The SRUK Sandpit held in London last month gathered researchers and patients looking to change that. https://t.co/yEg6kteqAO
In October a cohort of courageous Gifted and Talented program educators embarked on a pilot online program for bringing creativity into education with Beyonder’s Going Beyond: Creativity in Education course. Yesterday we met in person for the first time and it was inspirational!
@pioneer_susie I was also very disappointed to have missed the opportunity to meet all the wonderful teachers from Rockwood. We will most certainly be seeing each other soon be it virtually or otherwise.
@cuxdu @EtihadAirways When I shared the challenge with @EtihadHelp they responded with one more form and asked for additional medical tests to be completed prior to our flight in 12 hours!!!!
Please retweet. @EtihadAirways has failed the basic tests of customer service. Opt out of traveling with them when traveling with medical issues because they have no organized system for requesting or processing medical documents which result in great stress and frustration.
@EtihadAirways what a DISAPPOINTING experience. There is a massive difference in customer service specially for a passenger who has medical concerns. What @British_Airways was able to do in one day, @EtihadAirways was not able to arrange even in 10 days! #poorcustomerservice
@cuxdu @EtihadAirways We were due to fly in 12 hours and they have just sent yet another form!!! By contrast @British_Airways asked for a single form and were able to confirm that they would accommodate my father’s needs within an hour!
@cuxdu @EtihadAirways My father is to travel and due to his medical issues he needs oxygen support on the flight. We @EtihadAirways has sent him a different form every day. Forcing my unwell father to run around chasing his doctors repeatedly with requests to have multiple different forms completed.
@British_Airways thank you for the incredibly efficient customer service for passengers who travel with medical concerns. Cancelling @EtihadAirways reservation and making the switch.

@EtihadAirways has just sent ANOTHER form that requires a signature from the physician. This would be reasonable except for the fact that this is the THIRD time this week that we will need to track down a busy physician to get a signature on a form in 5 days. #travelerbeware
@EtihadAirways truly frustrated as we have spent a week trying to arrange for on board oxygen for a passenger enroute to Toronto and instead of providing a single list of required documents - @EtihadAirways asks for something different everyday!

What’s the difference between an organization that is ready for innovation and one that is not - it’s the idea that innovation is a “must have” rather than a “nice to have.”
