Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT) in Karachi, established by the Government of Sindh, provides round-the-clock emergency and life-saving treatment using modern, state-of-the-art facilities. As the country’s first Level-I Trauma Center, SMBBIT has served over 2 million patients, including 1,357,659 emergency cases, 950,161 OPD visits, 111,379 surgeries, and 279,540 hospital admissions. The institute has also delivered 1,094,935 X-ray services, 201,058 CT scans, 3,275 MRI scans, and 4,319,886 laboratory tests, offering comprehensive, free-of-cost trauma care while expanding trauma services throughout Sindh.

Freedom Front fighters carried out missile strikes on Kunduz Military Airport at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026 (8 Asad 1405), targeting helicopters transporting fighters of the Taliban terrorist group.

Based on intelligence regarding enemy deployments, Freedom Front fighters launched precision missile strikes against Taliban personnel preparing to deploy from Kunduz Military Airport to Badakhshan Province.

The attack inflicted significant casualties and material losses on the group. However, the exact number of enemy personnel killed or wounded is not yet known.

In recent days, the Taliban has intensified the deployment of personnel and logistical support to areas under the influence of the Freedom Front.
