@Airtel_Ug please refund the money I paid for Xtreme fiber. No installation has happened for close to a month now and your customer service is about as helpful as an appendix.
And please desist from encouraging people to subscribe when you are well aware that you don't have stock to install. Ugandans cannot afford to lose money at your expense in this economy.
@UEDCLTD Mbarara has no meters to connect new users for more than a month now! What level of incompetence is that?
And you have the audacity to run adverts talking about legalizing connections. Do better please!!
These are the moments designed by God! ππΏβ€οΈ
I was pleasantly surprised by the talented @emma_frost_ug_(instagram) who snuck up on me and sang my song #Sejjiga to me. π₯Ήππ
Thank you, @emma_frost_ug_ (instagram)
you gave me something that day I didnβt even know I needed.
Today I visited the @Makerere Research and Innovations Exhibition, and I landed on the stall of the Makerere University- John Hopkins University Research Collaboration (MU-JHU) exhibiting a promising medical breakthrough. I had heard of it rumoured about, here was a chance to hear it from the horseβs mouth.
Their study, headed in Uganda by Dr Flavia Matovu, has so far showed that Lenacapavir (by Gilead Sciences) can prevent HIV infection (as PrEP) with two injections per year. Though pending approval, trials so far have showed 100% efficacy! It is the first trial at that stage to show zero infections. This is great news, highly commendable research, something for Uganda to be proud about. Kudos to the team. Thanks Belinda for the time you offered to explain to me with such clarity ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½
Today I had the opportunity to teach students of Medicine and Surgery about Malaria, its complications and management.
Malaria is an old disease yet still kills millions of people! Let us strengthen the fight against malaria.
