Learning about genocide, especially how political leaders use them to consolidate power, was a cornerstone of my education. Minnesota schools should continue and expand this education for generations to come. We should all endeavor to be historians of Minnesota. #neveragain
Steve Drazkowski on genocide curriculum in Minnesota schools: "I'm not a historian of Minnesota, but I do understand that the genocides between the white people and the Indians going back included several genocides each way." #mnleg
@byashleyhackett@dbrauer Check out Pienza & Montalcino in Tuscany; Jesi & Pesaro in Marche; do some wineries, Parmesan/prosciutto tours, Castles, and restaurants in Parma and surrounding areas; check out Lago D’Iseo and Franciacorta in Lombardy. Can recommend specifics in each via DM.
@thehistoryguy The northern US Border’s little “fin” in Minnesota is an exclave across a lake that was stranded during the pandemic… good thing it gets so cold there: https://t.co/8RkfDt8EIl
This is the first-ever image of the black hole at the heart of our galaxy. At 27,000 light-years away, Sagittarius A* would look from Earth to be the size of a donut on the Moon. A global network of telescopes and 300 researchers, many from @CenterForAstro, captured this image.
@NoraKAli@Quaker Reduce the power on your microwave, and never cook oatmeal on high power more than 2-3 minutes. You could superheat the water (dangerous) or cause the carbohydrates to create a cap of increased surface tension resulting in… boil over.
@RussoHockey Thank you! So the only way to accomplish the above would be back-loading a potential Fiala contract, or keeping just lower cap-hit D-men in general…
@RussoHockey do you believe Matt Dumba would restructure his final year and take a lower salary to re-sign long term with the #mnwild? Not necessarily “for” another player like Fiala specifically, but because no matter what they wouldn’t be competitive without two scoring lines?
