Siapa berusaha dia berjaya.
Genetik tak boleh ubah. Sampai satu tahap, akan sampai laju maksimum. Most of us won’t get to sub-elite levels anyway.
Jadi kenapa nak dengki²? Let’s push each other to get faster.
Ada banyak lagi, tapi masa dah time.
Inspired or riled up, it’s all good. May it be the nudge needed to run more.
Motivation, whether fueled by passion or by spite, is key to progress. Either way, mission accomplished.

Re: Taking a break
Most of us just grind it through until we’re injured and sad.
No shame in slowing down. You’ve not thrown anything away.
Taking a break when your body and mind are giving clear signals that they need them is the bravest thing you can do.
Come back stronger.

@iswadiazmi Tahun lepas lari samada waktu pagi lepas hantar anak sekolah, atau waktu petang sebelum buka puasa.
Makan/minum kuantiti biasa je. Puasa is just early breakfast and dinner, skipping lunch.
Lari 30-45 minit camtu, sekadar maintenance. If you keep it easy enough, tak penat pun.
Re: Runstreaks
Bagus jika runstreak tu bagi motivasi untuk berlari. Tapi runstreak semata² bukanlah satu bentuk latihan yang cekap.
Especially kalau asyik buat 1 mile je hanya sebab sayang nak berhenti, going for no reason beyond the streak itself.
Itu namanya mabuk kepayang.

Whatever it is, tetap kena berlatih.
Thousands have ran sub20 5Ks without knowing apakebenda hrv tu. Bebudak sekolah, orang tua tak pakai jam pun boleh buat.
