Submitted a poetry packet for the first time in... oh my god, I think it's been 3 years. I've been steadily writing, but time really got away from me. Last Christmas, I wrote ghost stories, and I think my next goal will be finding places to submit those.

Until this feature, I didn’t think The Years of Blood was a coming-of-age body of work, but yes, it is. If you grew up around the horrors of ritualism, kidnapping and human/organ harvesting, you will understand that arriving at “age” means someone else didn’t.
