yep, just this...... its a joke! @educationgovuk@GavinWilliamson Please please look at this. Surely the gold standard should override the less reliable test! And yes I have 3 frustrated children at home right now due to a +ve LFD.
Today @educationgovuk sent this out to schools. Further clarification of the insane policy of not permitting a negative PCR test (the gold standard) to override a positive LFD test (less reliable) to get children back to school. (1/n)
@JonnyPrinceC@NickTriggle No, you are right, I’m not trained to spot the difference and of course we are all isolating. 1 negative PCR and another negative LFT still Make me question the positive in school. No symptoms from the child too. We’ll do what we have to do but it’s still ruddy annoying!
