On the 18th of June, next Thursday, the three judges at the Court of Session will issue their judgement following the Lord Advocate's appeal against Lord Lake's February judgement in my claim against the Crown for their 2020 malicious prosecution of me.
This case has already made legal history and dependent on what they conclude could result in a new Criminal Justice Act being required to make Scots law compliant with ECHR.
The case has been largely ignored so far by the corporate media, so stay tuned here for further updates.
Special thanks to my legal team, Solicitor Advocate Gordon Dangerfield, solicitor Liz Coyle and Andrew Smith KC for getting us this far and to all those who donated to the fund.
You’ve been amazing. Just another couple of hundred quid now and David, who’s looked after other folk for most of his adult life but taken a couple of really hard knocks recently, will be off to a solid new start. https://t.co/6rMhQJgb4d

Stu has been fearless in shining a spotlight into the pit of desolate darkness which has been the SNP in power. There must surely be some good men and women in positions of power in Scottish civic society who can no longer bear the stench without acting🤷
In my experience he always tried to see the good in people and believed the cause united the people around him. Unfortunately some of those colleagues were willing to abuse his trust also excelled at deception. Indeed most of us were equally blinded by our belief we all stood in common cause.
Most notably McGarry and Murrell abused that trust for financial gain and the matter of the alleged fraud perpetrated on ALBA is still ongoing.
But the malicious allegations and alleged conspiracy to frame him was so unimaginable, so preposterous I don’t think any of us could’ve predicted it, least of all Alex.
He was gravely wounded both by it, and the subsequent betrayals yet to be exposed. He deserved so much better from the people who rode on his coat tails and those who still do.
It’s a heartbreaking tale.
What’s clear to me is that this is not just a party issue, it’s a movement issue. We need to formulate a structure where governance is never taken for granted on trust or where all of the control over strategy rests in the hands of a few powerful but disengaged people.
Whether we like it or not we have at least three camps. Salmond supporters who revile Sturgeon, Sturgeon supporters who revile Salmond and those who understandably wish it all went away and we got on with the job of delivering independence. Unless and until the truth is out and healing is done we’re at risk of making little progress to the goal.
We need a unifying leader to emerge with the guts, passion and ability to unite the movement. That’s the huge challenge.
