The whole point of Nettles' story is that a common-born person could tame a dragon through conditioning and building trust, punching a hole through the "blood of the dragon" myth. It's actually some of the most sociologically progressive writing that GRRM has done, and I think scrapping it was pretty disappointing. #Hotd
