I've entered a bit of a rabbit hole today. I've entered the zone of adding features that probably aren't MVP and started building a marketing campaign that in theory is really cool, but dawning on me how much effort it might take....

I'm slowly getting there too.. I'm still in build mode so finding a bit more involvement is needed right now... I think when I'm operational and maintaining, it will be more autonomous friendly.

That being said, I'm not FIRE yet :D still working a FT job, parenting and sticking to my golden rule to not ignore my family for a side hussle every night :D so still quite limited to what I can output at pace.

Give your half finished indie projects a resting place. Maybe with an eBay style bidding system where you use credits to buy. Credits can be earned through engagement or purchased.

It's actually a terrible idea. Hahah. Imagine the potential security implications of buying some dodgy code that opens a backdoor to your laptop.

That's what a 1am half asleep idea gets you

If you don't put a payday plan in place, it doesn't matter how much you earn. You'll spend your money in the wrong order.

Exactly. Just replying to this post before I went to sleep sent my mind into a shiny object hunt.

I came up with an idea that now I want to run with, before actually thinking about it's feasability, drop everything on my plate right now and run with.
