@BluelineBardown Regardless Canucks have been too soft and easy to play against. Need speed and size badly hopefully with a new style direction from Manny and RJ.
@BluelineBardown No doubt the track record is garbage, I agree. Even watching Carolina this year, sure they have smaller guys (Jarvis/stank) but they also have some units out there. Conn Staal won it at 37 with his big body.
@BluelineBardown So basically just Florida going back to back? Pens had 2 of the best players in the world, otherwise “team averages” have always been big. And the averages are all close, they’re going to be outliers that affect those numbers.
@Sapsterr_ Tough to say cause every person is different, does seem to be a trend that has started though. Wouldn’t blame Canadian teams for taking into account when they’re thinking of their future.
@JasonGregor Can’t tell if this is a joke or not. He makes over 9 mill and is a 4/5 dman, no one wants him. Oilers are going to have to retain and add a sweetener for teams to even consider him.
@Sapsterr_ I just don’t think he evolved. It’s easier to get to the top then it is to stay at the top. Everyone can theorize, I think most fans don’t care anymore. Take him for what he is now, hopefully they can get assets and draft and build around what he is now.
@spenny1412@MrRonertSrub@taj1944 I think those days are gone. You’d get a solid 2nd line C. He can into the league hot hit never evolved further. That’s the way it is.
@ScottBiggsify Doughty ended up being arguably Canada’s best dman by the end of the 4 nations if you watched any of it. They have Makar to run the PP and Bouchard can’t defend to save his life.
