Jett Walker with 8 Ks in 3 innings! 🤯🤯

In last night’s game (6/2/26), up 2 runs with the bases loaded and no outs, the Walla Walla Sweets brought in Mesa’s Jett Walker.

Walker proceeded to strike out the next three Corvallis Knight’s batters to get out of the inning unscathed.

Walker, however, was not done. Walker finished the game, striking out 5 more.

For the game, Walker pitched 3 innings, allowed 0 runs on just 2 hits, issued 0 walks, and struck out 8!!

For those of you wondering, the only out that was not a strike out was the very last out of the game that came on a soft hit to the short stop, who threw it to 1st for the out.

The FIRST 30 win team in D2 Baseball in 2026...@CMUMavsBaseball at 30-3!

Colorado Mesa completes the sweep to go 16-0 in RMAC play. Think that's impressive? Well, what's also impressive is that they have won TWENTY NINE straight games against D2 opponents, their last loss was Feb 7th!

Also impressive is the Mavericks have a team 3.77 ERA, which playing in the RMAC equates to about a 2.42 ERA!

This team will certainly move up in the rankings from No.4 and it wouldn't be shocking to see them one of the top two spots.
