Obviously a properly consensual, no-strings hookup when traveling can be a fun time (I hooked up with someone at my first conference post-undergrad back in 2008), but professional events are not the place to be making moves unless it is *very apparent* there is interest from both parties. Saw this happening with one of our team members at HIMSS in front of a full table of people we were having drinks at the hotel with. I was absolutely shocked by the audacity of the guy and we all called it out as soon as he went to bed – at our not so subtle urging. It's wild that this is still happening, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Also, "Did we sleep together?" is a TERRIBLE pick up line 🤡

Notable takeaway from this slide: Pronouns should never be listed as 'preferred' since that implies there's a choice to not use them.

1) Understanding in real time what is going on with clinical trials and more quickly determining what best patient cohorts are.
2) Helping patients understand where to get their medications at best prices (not really sure why AI is needed for this) and how to engage them in adherence
3) Digital biomarkers for identifying which patients will respond best to which medications
4) Audio screenings of voice to detect laryngeal illnesses
5) Robotic assessments of molecule-disease fit and in-silica toxicity prediction before going into mammals/ humans.
