My son was born last month in this year of the snake. Recently snakes started appearing in my yard. I've been seeing snake-like signs everywhere. The snake or baby dragon represents vitality and wealth. My wife dreamt of baby snakes coming out of the ground. So I've been busy stacking baby snakes (junior miners) for my son. Today's baby snakes are tomorrow's monumental dragons.

Honestly, it's been done before....One of the most well-known expressions of this idea is Zhuge Liang's "Longzhong Plan", where he outlines a strategy to Liu Bei that involves forming a tripartite balance of power between Wei, Shu, and Wu. This balance would prevent any one kingdom from dominating and could lead to a form of strategic stalemate, which Zhuge Liang believed was necessary to restore peace and eventually reunify the empire. While the tripod metaphor itself is more commonly found in commentaries and interpretations of Zhuge Liang’s strategy rather than in the original text, it is often paraphrased in historical and literary analysis to describe the deliberate balance of power he sought to create. The idea is that just as a tripod stands firm only when all three legs are present, the Three Kingdoms could maintain stability only through mutual existence.

As a society hell-bent on self annihilation, the convergence of spirit and science has the potential to be our savior in the nick of time. This @joerogan podcast superimposes the brilliance of @ericweinstein and inspirational genius of @terrencehoward in a riff (sutra) of Yin and Yang.

Intellect is the capacity for the brilliant diamond mind to divide thoughts and ideas into a million abstract facets whereas genius is the boundary where the Creator's inspiration coalesces in the humble heart and manifests its graceful art. We see this in the crystal matrix (personality) of these two men.

Information can be learned but universal truths must be known from the inside. This is where intellectual science and meta physical insight are at odds with each other. This is due in no small part, to the distortions introduced to our symbolic systems since Babylon (babble on).

Man has been on an asymptotic course diverging from organic nature. While our approximations of reality (numeral system, mathematics, calendar) served us throughout our industrial development we need to look to past knowledge and combine it with modern practice to catalyse the future (next Fibonacci sequence).

This discourse on our foundational systems comes at a perfect time where past distortions have propagated huge cracks in our civil fabric. In contradiction they are both the impetus for transformation and limiting factor in our technological progress. Complexity serves the elite, simplicity and elegance serves humanity. Monopolies on truth are at a decline.

As a self taught technologist and spiritualist I can appreciate the perspectives of both these sides.

⏰ I normally feed the dogs at 6.30am but couldn’t get out of bed until 9.30 today because of depression.

🙏 I could easily have got someone to cover and do it for me but wanted to force myself up. It was tough.

🐶 Anxiety too bad to deal with people today but the dogs and their happy tails helped immeasurably

🌴 Fresh air and doing something helps but as people with depression and anxiety know even a simple thing can seem monumentally hard. Feeding the dogs is the highlight of my day and I still struggled to get out and do it. Thinking of people who have to go to work, face hard social situations and can’t afford to not be in hard situations with their own anxiety / depression.

💤 I probably won’t get much more then this done today as I feel very rough but the dogs are fed and I feel like I achieved something even if I was moving like in quicksand
