@noviefoxny Within SF, you'll need to go smaller boutique shops for premium products. Olivier's Butchery is great for meat, Epicurean Trader has good overall selection. There are specialty Spanish, French, Italian, etc in various parts of SF. You just have to hunt for what you are craving!
@noviefoxny SF farmers markets are far superior to NYC. The produce on the west coast is just better, sunnier conditions longer growing seasons. Just harder to get to bc only one by public transit, and every city outside SF has their own so vendors have to pick and choose which to attend.
