The story of how Chanyeol became the MC of Choi Crew 🏃♂️
🍒 : last year, we had our smtown concert in london. at the time kai and i went down to the gym to work out, but while we were at the gym, we ran into changmin hyung and minho hyung, who were fully dressed for running and they just out of nowhere suggested, "hey, let's go running together". i thought it was just going to be a light jog, so i tagged along, i wasn't even wearing proper running shoes..and we ended up running 5 kilometers. we ran 5 kilometers and it took only a bit over 30 minutes! it was seriously exhausting. my knees were hurting so bad.

🍒 : a youtube team saw that footage and thought, "it would be so much fun if we get this guy to run". so they cast me as the fixed MC for a running channel
🐿 : but isn't that a good thing?
🍒 : oh, it's great! i was super happy about it, but... right now, i'm doing the concerts, playing basketball, dancing on weekends and then once i get back, i have to run. then the next day is basketball again, and then running... if it's like this, my stamina should improve, right? but it's actually getting worse 🥲
🍒 : i don't really have any professional background data when it comes to basketball. i started playing basketball on my own just before i enlisted in the military. i would go out to Hangang by myself and just practice shooting and that was just about it. but playing team basketball properly for the "Rising Eagles" is a first for me, so honestly, even during practice, i get really nervous and it still feels quite unfamiliar, that's why it's been quite difficult.
👦 : from what I see with Chanyeol, and this is no lie, if he practices consistently, i believe he can become pretty good at it!
