My 11 year old daughter is currently binging the ‘92 X-Men animated series, and watching some of these episodes cold, even as a former editor on X-Men, they’re absolutely wild. I cannot even imagine what my mom thought when I was watching them at the same age lol

These kids are 2 and 4, and the parents also believe they’re too young to understand verbal correction for things they did wrong so they hit them instead. Make literally any part of this “rational”, it can’t be done.

Me grinding my teeth to admit that TJ Oshie did a great job, Warroad has awesome youth base layers with neck and wrist protection that my kid loves after hating all his other neck guards.

Can someone actually explain to me what the reasoning is for NOT mandating neck guards for hockey? Even when I asked my son’s coach he said «we agree with USA Hockey that it’s better not to mandate them.” Like, what is the negative? I truly don’t get it.
