I have seen the events in Kitengela, and it is time we speak honestly about the National Police Service.

How do you fire teargas at a peaceful rally and still claim to be protecting citizens? Protecting them from what, their own voices?

In a lawful nation, officers responsible would be suspended immediately.

When police harm innocent citizens or act politically, they stop protecting the country and start destabilizing it.

Nations rarely collapse suddenly. They decay when law enforcers place themselves above the law. Many uprisings begin this way.

The police cannot claim to enforce the law while behaving like lawbreakers.

Kenya needs firm constitutional accountability before rogue policing damages the nation beyond repair.

If this path continues, it will destabilize this country.
