@Team_English1@EngChatUK I have been asked to create a poetry scheme year 9 on the themes of love/gender/sexuality. Has anyone got any poem recommendations that are particularly powerful to teach? Any ideas would be most appreciated!
@massolit@Team_English1 @A1EngResources Thank you @massolit . Will have a look to see if there are any I haven't used yet. I've used it for Feminine Gospels and the students found them insightful.
Does anyone happen to have any fab revision lessons/resources for A Level AQA Eng Lit Spec A?

@English_MissA @Team_English1@EngliciousUCL@EngChatUK Thank you very much. I've used Wilde's 'children in prison' but will have a look at the British Library resources too.
Looking for some tips/suggestions of what to read/who to follow for improving challenge and teaching to the top across the whole school. Would love to collaborate over the next year with anyone interested in this area too.
@SPryke2@liaesthermartin@Team_English1 Really enjoyed reading this blog, thank you! It's so relatable in terms of the gaps we are noticing in our mock marking too. Definitely sharing this blog with my team!
@FunkyPedagogy That no matter how daunting stepping outside of your comfort zone is, if you can see at least one positive outcome from doing so, it is always worth it.
@martha_0824 We use Massolit too with our Sixth Form students and want to now use it with the other year groups. We were also discussing running lectures on academic analysis of the texts we study for next year, which we are excited about!
Has anyone got any great tips/advice on how to teach to the top/challenge students as a whole school approach? Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated. #edutwitter#education#educhat
Does anyone know any good websites/resources for being a Professional Tutor to trainees/NQTs? It's a new role for me this year and would appreciate greatly any guidance/advice you lovely people have to offer. #teachertwitter#teachershelpingteachers
Just returned to teaching after maternity leave and started at a new school too! Going to be teaching KS5 AQA English Lit A, which I haven't taught before. Anyone got any help/guidance/resources they think might be useful? I am going to be teaching 'Wuthering Heights'. Thanks!
