We don't feel safe with a murderer on patrol at pride. Imagine having to see one of the officers who murdered your loved one just hanging out in your community, in uniform. Masyih Ford, we won't ever let you forget what you did.

❌ “i’m gay and can’t donate blood”
- oppressive
- sounds like it’s your fault
- plain
✅ “i am an Unbleeding, as decreed by the FDA”
- mysterious
- powerful
- points out whose fault it is that you can’t donate blood
I really suggest we focus on supporting PEOPLE living w/ideations & thoughts of hurting themselves. We have to center PEOPLE always. “Stop suicide” centers the act & not the people who need our help to not get to the point of the act. Messaging matters & guides how we move fam.
Notice how all the people shouting about "off ramps" never talk about "on ramps"?
But the lack of "on ramps" is what has caused mass harm.
Governments have acted way too late to each surge, waiting until case numbers are unmanageable & hospitals full, despite adequate warning.
Today, @OfficialFBOP reported 3 new deaths from COVID of people in its custody. That's at least 7 people who have died between 1/7 and 1/19. To reiterate: 7 people have died in federal prison from COVID in just 12 days. And that's just the deaths we know about.
Ever since we rose up and demanded defund, we’ve seen a barrage of ginned-up crime panics.
From the organized retail theft “epidemic” to this train nonsense, corporate interests and a complicit media are manufacturing consent for larger police budgets.

Eh, my sleep schedule is fucked up again, which means few people will even see my posts, but I still need to share this daily (or a few times a day) because we're running out of time.
Flu kills 12-52K/year in the US. #COVID19 has killed > 400K/year in the US (850K total). It’s not the flu.
But if we had Canada’s COVID death rate, we would have < 300K deaths. If Norway, < 100K. If Japan, < 50K. We could make it no worse than flu but have chosen not to do so.
This is so dark
It's presented as heartwarming
but these literal children r doing this for free, they're having to not only deal with death but also explaining to family that their loved one has died
the reporter just jauntily responds
"and then you go back to algebra class!"
