If you could build a starting lineup @NMStateAggies fans of the best @NMStateMBB players at each position in the last decade what would it look like?
Pick 5 starters and a sixth man (no wrong answers!)
Have some fun with it! 🗣

Jason Hooten on the Aggies' trajectory: "I still feel like we're going in the right direction. I think the interesting thing for all of us is just trying to figure out NIL and trying to figure out the portal... Recruiting is becoming different, but it's also become even more important than it ever has. I think the most important thing is you have to get players. You have to get guys that fit you, and that fit your culture and fit the way you want to play."
NMSU announced a ~$18M project for a new press box and executive suite at Aggie Memorial Stadium, which will be funded by the New Mexican government. Construction will begin after the 2026 season for a completion date before the 2027 season.

game over .. season over .. a very painful one comes to a close; the department/program will need to do some SERIOUS recalibration to get New Mexico State basketball back on track. Let's not sugar coat it. This was one of the worst seasons we've had it a LONG time.
This Aggie team plays hard; just not enough talent and toughness overall to compete against the best teams in CUSA. Sam Houston is stacked with talent - and plays very tough

Kentucky's Seth McGowan led all running backs in the vertical jump (42.5 inches) and broad jump (10-foot-11) at the NFL Combine.
Arkansas' Mike Washington Jr. was second among all running backs in the vertical jump (39 inches) and broad jump (10-foot-8).
What is interesting, however, is that both were teammates at @NMStateFootball in 2024.
Very difficult season thus far. But I also remember (some 40 years ago) that Neil McCarthy had 3 bad-record seasons to start (after taking the job with previous terrible Aggie seasons under Weldon Drew). Later he had great seasons before returning the Aggis to the dump. Patience.
Final: Delaware 73, NMSU 64
The Aggies are upset by the Blue Hens at home in a big upset for the visitors. NMSU is now right at .500 at 10-10 and faces Kennesaw State next on Saturday on the road.
@Nick_Coppola__ The Teddy Allen team had rough moments, but they were never near .500; they rebounded to get a first round NCAA Tournament win. This team will be lucky to get a CUSA Tournament win at this pace.
