@ryantjeerdsma@RoddSlaterPGA Dispersion is a function of distance. Dispersion will always be wider at 300 than at 200. Since going to a positive AoA increases distance, it will also widen dispersion.
@4golfonline@ArccosGolf Putting looks suspect this round, with 3 three-putts. Probably the biggest area to work on.
Tee game losing to a tour pro mainly due to distance. Guessing you took less than driver a lot this round, which makes numbers look worse.
Fairways hit means essentially nothing.
@MidwestGolfJake@philpancrazio I'd be interested to see if the length alone accounts for the difference in club head speed.
Seems like there's a chance those stiffer shafts unlocked a little extra speed.
@TPPSkol Average offensive snaps per game by QB:
McCarthy: 51.9 snaps/game
Wentz: 61 snaps/game
More snaps = more passes. As he said, you need to look at the run/pass split to truly compare.
@Purple_Post Mechanics won't be fixed in season in all likelihood. Hard to make mechanical changes while needing to perform. Last thing he needs is to be thinking about mechanics on Sundays.
Needs an off season to ingrain new habits, and game reps to solidfy the mental. Give him next year.
@TPPSkol His mechanics and footwork won't develop much in season. Thats an off-season thing.
The game won't slow down for him without game reps. Needs to play to develop that.
Gotta play out the season, then hammer the footwork and mechanics in the off-season.
Let’s give this putter away.
72 lie

My favorite finish we have done.
@mysoupistoohot@SmexyAdolis@CodifyBaseball You're wrong. The strike zone is defined as "the area over home plate".
"a strike... must cross over PART of home plate while in the aforementioned area"[bottom of kneecap to midpoint between shoulder and top of pants]
If a pitch catches any part of that 3D zone, it's a strike
@RockBottom_17@vikingzfanpage@PFF Average time to throw is not an offensive line stat... its not saying that's how much time the line provided, its the actual amount of time it took the QB to throw. Caleb held the ball longer.
@hutch_golf Not a fitter, but tinker with shafts myself and swing it around 120. I'd start by playing with a x-flex in the same shaft. Could also increase to a 7s or 7x in the blue, see how heavier feels. And if that doesn't work I'd go black. Start 6s or 6x and go up from there.
@TimGavrich@MidwestGolfJake Shotlink data is public... his average is not 320+ as you're somehow still trying to suggest...
Tell me what you think happens to golf at the pro and amateur levels if nothing changes. What's the average driving distance in 2050 at each level?
@TimGavrich@MidwestGolfJake OEMs have no stake in the long term future of the game? Lol. They have a larger stake than anybody. Hard to sell equipment for a game that doesn't exist. That said... the OEMs have nothing to do with the distance increase of late. Tech is capped. The players are just better.
@TimGavrich@MidwestGolfJake Coefficient of restitution was capped in '98. Head volume in '04. It's knowledge, not tech. Ball flight laws allowed better clubfitting for optimum launch conditions. Strokes gained taught the importance of length off the tee and allowed the athletes to prioritize accordingly.
@JonasStaerk@DomClare Because the point isn't just to get guys open. Gotta find ways to successfully move the ball and score points. That said, I'm not sure KOC had many answers on his play sheet for his pro bowl QB playing that bad. I don't think anybody was expecting that from Darnold.
