Google Maps to Enscape https://t.co/Rr7ZluuGzo via @YouTube
I have finally uploaded this Video, it's a workflow to let you use Google Maps 3D geometry to provide context models for your Enscape Visualizations.
@PhilRead@Enscape3d@AutodeskRevit Great stuff Phil. I just realised I could do that last week. Was going to make a video over Christmas but you beat me to it. 👍👍
@willislim @techoglot I just got the new @Aftershokz Aeropex.
They are amazing. I have worn them for at least 6hours every day this week. So good. So light and comfortable.
@SG_MontanaBound@AutodeskRevit like @Twiceroadsfool , I have also run the RFO on VMware VDI. scored a 97. You will find GPU benchmarks that work by testing the max FPS will not be accurate because the system intentionally limits the GPU to 60 FPS, this makes the video stream consistent to the end user.
Just used a custom @enscape3d Asset to load the entire Southport area into my #Revit model fro scenery context. Small cube in Revit, full google maps 3D context in Enscape. thanks to @pieterschiette for making this possible.
My five-year-old asked on Friday if she can "work from home". I said of course you can. So this weekend I've made and installed a new bench in the office so she has somewhere to "work". #WFH
Just need to set up her computer and drawing things.
Ewwwwww🤢🤮. Manufacturers really need to get advice from industry about how content should be modelled in order to be useful. I would sincerely recommend they get @cprice_xrev or somebody with similar experience to provide some consulting advice at the very least.
#brisbim big thanks to @CadgroupAust for sponsoring this event.
They are giving away 2 fully paid trips to Autodesk University in Las Vegas.
Go to there website to enter. 1 entry per licence.
@Twiceroadsfool @Zero3Quarter Testing something like that, it looked pretty good. Showed the swings in light grey dashed. We also showed the open panel in dashed so you can clearly see/measure the clear opening.
One downside is that the door tags usually sit where the closed panel is. Hard to fit small rooms.
@Twiceroadsfool@PrlxTeam Nice work. I was suggesting something like this for users who still use CTRL tab to move between views so it's more obvious what model you're in.
This will work nicely
Excited to have finally been accepted to present at Autodesk University later this year!!
