Took a look at the new @opensea marketplace today.

Definitely a lot of similarities to @blur_io (including a 0.5% royalty).

However, as someone who used OpenSea for 5 years, I will say that this update is a HUGE improvement.

Much better flow, cleaner UI, and good dashboards for both "Collector" and "Pro".

In my opinion, this will make trading NFTs feel more fluid to new users. In a space that puts tech first, it always amazed me how clunky NFT trading felt.

But for veteran traders, this update doesn't mean much beyond the upcoming $SEA airdrop.

It is already clear that a lot of traders are farming potential $SEA, but will it be worth it?

Similar to Blur (again), OpenSea is factoring in loyalty - undoubtedly a play to take back trading volume and secure a new round of VC funding.
