It’s been a great couple of weeks in starting the 24-25 school year! I had my leadership retreat with my team and we are ready to move and level up! So very thankful for their dedication, passion, and teamwork!

Summer Cool at Macon had an amazing start! Thank you to all staff for your flexibility, patience, and joy as we dove straight into our academic and enrichment programs! Also to our students for their enthusiasm and smiles they graced us with today! Ready for day 2!

We have had a great morning here at Macon! We had our Senior walk for the graduating seniors who went to school at Macon. These scholars were also able to open their letters they left in our Time Capsule that they wrote as 5th grade students to their future selves!

It has been a fast, super focused, intentional last few weeks here at Macon! The joy and pride I have in my students and staff in coming together and working as hard as they have to achieve goals is indescribable! Keep pushing always!

We had a wonderful week of celebrating our AP, Ms. Maria Rojas! She has brought so much to our campus and is a vital piece of what makes us complete! She demonstrates daily hard work, kindness, joy, and students always at the fore front!

What a wonderful evening and Winners Circle Celebration DISD put together for our Teachers of the Year, Principals of the Year, and Teachers of Promise! So proud to stand beside these two deserving ladies!
