@casiodorus_ I mean, if I have the opportunity I've by far spent the most time with Avid so I like using it. But Lightworks does a fair amount of things decently well for free. Takes a little getting used to, like anything. It's not going to be as robust as Premiere, though.
If you ever watched my stream, you no doubt saw the dog on the couch in the background at some point. Unfortunately today I had to put Genie down. This picture is from the day after I got her, back in 2013. Not feeling her there anymore is by far the bigger weight on my chest.
@EcgBauer Oh yeah. So many memories. Right now the biggest trouble is how everything in the house has some association or other to it, so I'll be feeling fine for a while until some object or room feature just makes me break down.
Now, I'm assuming that the two responses of "would lurk" and "not interested" pretty much tell me the whole story already, but with 1 day left on this poll I'll put it back out there juuuust in case it just didn't get seen by the right people.
Assuming schedule worked, would you sign up for and participate in a free 2-3 hour stream teaching you how to make a first game in Gamemaker Studio as well as giving live help with problems along the way?
If you have some other response I didn't account for, please let me know!
Well, the game is technically playable now, but it needs a lot of work getting it to feel better and look better. We're going to start replacing all of this artwork today, right now!

My friends and I were talking about bow ties being worn at the same as a straight tie. That led me to this image, where very quickly the ridiculous tie was overshadowed by our curiosity at this model's expression.
He seems like he's moments away from tears. Who hurt you, model?
Had a really late night at work last night that I'm still sleeping in from. So, no stream today. I'll see y'all on Monday, where we're going to start trying to make the game look a little more pretty!
