Pretty outrageous: our local NPR station WFIU is reporting that faculty were told they’d be paid extra to take over grading for students on strike. The faculty asked why that $ couldn’t be used to meet students’ demands.
Grad students everywhere: Oh, so you DO have the money.
Tomorrow is #IUDay, and after a week of grad worker strikes @IUBloomington still refuses to invest in its educators by recognizing their union and offering them a living wage.
