A2 My first thought when I saw this in the book was the IB program, and then the AVID program. These programs are focused on teaching skills and not only content. Focused on adaptation to achieve success, not rote memorization in order to pass a standardized test. #dhsbookchat

@tfullervcs @techteacherfran A1 - I was just about to comment on this statement in the book as well. How many times do we, as teachers, lament that we're no longer 'preparing students for the real world'. Well, maybe that's a good thing because the 'real world' isn't what it used to be either
