@Patrickgluck2 Ok then please, when our moron child molester president delivers your country another $3 billion check of our tax money, have Prime Minister Netanyahu (leader of God’s favorite country) tear it up and spit in his “Christian” face.
“We don’t need your shithole money!” Lol
@barbarismcrit That’s too fatalistic. Reforms should change the balance of power in favor of workers. There’s no way we can ever hope to have revolutionary changes without reforms. An AOC presidency isn’t enough, but it’s something we need to support as a starting point.
@Patrickgluck2 Ok bro. Antisemitic conspiracy theories, but woke! Lol.
If my country is a “shithole,” please, tell AIPAC to campaign on that. “America is A Shithole! Now Give Us Your Tax Money and Your Soldiers to Die For Our Country!” Great slogan!
Keep biting the hand that feeds you.
@Patrickgluck2 lol so it’s okay to spit on Christians and assault nuns? Please tell that to your US sugar daddy Mike Huckabee. In fact, continue having a wonderful little apatheid state. But stop taking my country’s tax money, weaponry, and stop using my country’s military to fight your wars.
Former Austrian painter and WWI veteran Adolf Hitler, who became a German politician prior to WWII, has died by suicide in Berlin.
The jokes write themselves here, people.
@pkgandakin I wish the US had an actual reformist political party. I’m not a reformist. We need a revolutionary rupture with capitalism someday whatever that may look like. But I can work with a reformist.
Establishment Dems aren’t even “reformists.”They’re just technocratic conservatives.
Here’s a useful test:
If you find someone constantly trying to undermine your reasoning by questioning its factual premises ask them, “For the sake of argument, what if you granted me my premises?”
If they fall back on negation, then don’t waste your time talking to them.
I’ve learned to not engage in debates with people who practice what I call “epistemic negation.”
It’s is a bad faith debate tactic. It’s the refusal to allow sufficiently established premises to become common ground for debate.
This is designed to frustrate debate rather than engage in good faith.
Debate and persuasion are good things. The left should be able to defend their positions, refute opposing ones, and persuade non-ideologues.
But I don’t think it’s worth engaging with people who do this.
