The National Park Service ran on a $3 billion budget and generated $56 billion in economic output in 2024. That’s over $17 back for every $1 invested.
With a record of 332 million visitors last year, Americans clearly care about their parks and expect them to be funded.
@midwestern_ope I’ve lived in #1 and #2 and I would say Milwaukee is a great place to visit for a fun weekend away, but Grand Rapids is by far a better place to live!
So one of the better QB’s in the portal Demond Williams committed back to Washington a few days ago & signed papers for $4M/Year…then tonight announces he’s entering the portal.
LSU is considered the landing spot for $6M/Yr…and this is all going on while stud QB Sam Leavitt is at a basketball game with Lane Kiffin.
College football is broken
It’s official, a just 23-year-old journalist Nick Shirley just single-handedly torpedoed and sunk Tim Walz’s re-election campaign with one viral exposé on the massive Somali daycare fraud scheme that’s been bleeding Minnesota taxpayers dry for years.
Never forget Kamala picked this guy to be the second most powerful position in the world.
The legacy media ignored it, state officials looked the other way, and whistleblowers were silenced… until he blew it wide open.
Welcome to the new era, X is the real media, WE ARE the media now.
i have no desire to be rich so i can buy a lambo or birkins.
I want to be rich so I can control my time and go to the gym at 2 pm on a wednesday.
sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon.
so I can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients.
spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget.
that’s my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.
The packers were up 23-14 in the 3rd QTR. Since then:
Micah Parsons tears his ACL (out for year)
Christian Watson breaks his collarbone (out for year)
Zach tom re-injures his knee
Evan Williams injured
Packers season is over.
My college head coach had a personal rule that he would never be alone with a woman, not even in an elevator. Some people thought it was weird, unnecessary or overly pious. He considered it a guard rail for himself to honor his wife, his faith and his responsibility to everyone in the building. As a college athlete I didn’t fully understand. As a grown man, I get it. And I’m grateful.
Ngl, adult friendships require grace. People are very busy. People are healing. People are growing. People are taking time for self care just like you. Less communication isn’t less love. Check in not out.
Also I don’t understand how college football coaches have these gigantic buyouts. What other profession do you make out like a bandit for getting fired and being shitty at your job? It has never made sense to me
Hating the Brewers is so fake and manufactured. Smallest market in pro sports, no championships, no bad people on their team, mostly young guys and journeymen, and a fan base that just wants to drink beer and cheer for their team.
It’s completely faux hate.
