@chalkers I wonder, though given that dental imaging is one of the final pieces for identifying people such as mangled bodies at crime scenes is it just using that information for cleaning or potentially also for identity?

Totally realize I’m wearing a tinfoil hat here

My in-laws and daughter are there already, but can’t check in because I am not. Not only are we losing a day on our rental, they now have to book a hotel as well.

The other airlines out of O’Hare don’t seem to be having these delays.

[John Weland @j_weland]

@united what the heck is going on? Supposed to fly Sioux Falls to Chicago O’Hare to Myrtle Beach. Connection to Myrtle got deployed then canceled. Got rebooked to Charleston and that has been delayed 5 times.

I’ve now lost a whole day at my rental we were supposed to check in to

@chalkers Local grocery store here uses it. It’s handy for helping change up the store layout quickly. But I could see “profile” based pricing becoming a thing.

@incrediBULL_ @unusual_whales I mean until BTC can be widely and commonly used for direct purchase of goods it’s hard not to exchange it for fiat.

I can’t take a card into the local coffee shop and have it directly spend from BTC I have to login and make an exchange and then use the card.

@RajaXg I maybe misunderstanding but why should I want to remote control a robot to clean and garden etc. if I have to put in the effort to remote control it, I might as well do it myself.

@pavmike What rolls down stairs, comes over in pairs? Rolls over your neighbors dog, it fits on your back and great for a snack. It’s log, log, LOG

Alright Xer's, dad's PC is being weird, boots up, no clicks. you can move the mouse/cursor, keyboard short cut to open the task bar. But cannot open any program or stuff. Already formatted once. Still no dice (Windows 11)

@dbrand Well fuck, be nice to get a $10k offer for what otherwise was a mild inconvenience.

@derrickgott007 I’m setup with UniFi Protect. My house might be a little Fort Knox.

@derrickgott007 @PayPal Change your password, then log out of all sessions. Then you can log back in (with new password) and they won’t have the new password to login to get to that prompt even

@iamkylehansen Good to see you smiling again brother

Yo! anyone have suggestions on a monitor? 24” 1080p must get bright and look crisp, vibrant. It’s not for gaming but rather digital signage. So hopefully affordable for what its purpose is.

I have one right now that doesn’t get bright enough to be seen outside through a window.

@chalkers What kind of “developer” that’s just a wide range.

[John Weland @j_weland]

@chalkers This guy is/was the Mr. Roger’s of Technology. Actually helped me land a job way back in my career. (Thanks @chalkers )
