@MinistryofOtaku@uncledoomer That is not at all the standard rent here lmao. Sure more expensive than some cities but for a major city it’s very affordable. And it’s literally fine man lmao
@jackjxdd@kyrieleis__@Nemo662189 Yeah not like in the league bylaws. But I’d argue having experience in a high level of play above HS basically is. The very few players that did skip the minors all came out of college ball.
@A_zruh@kyrieleis__@Nemo662189 It’s not required no, but it basically is, besides international signings from other top leagues (Japan or Korea) it would be near impossible to not spend a few years in the minors. Only 24 players have ever skipped the minor leagues. And I don’t think any of them were 18.
@jackjxdd@kyrieleis__@Nemo662189 Yeah 2 years is multiple years lol. The average time for a player who does eventually get into the majors is 3 to 4 years in the minor leagues after being drafted. No one is going directly from being drafted at 18 to being added to the starting lineup for a majors team.
@Crawbaddy@lowkeyGPT@LinkofSunshine I mean I think it’s pretty clear it follows the timeline of our empire collapsing into infighting and Trump is obviously a symptom of that. Yeah I’d agree he’s not the exclusive factor but he’s a big symptom hurting it further.
@Crawbaddy@lowkeyGPT@LinkofSunshine No that was probably the big pointless war started by Bush. Which is a different one from the big pointless war recently started by Trump.
@xx_Azriel_xx@atrupar The democratic and republican parties did not exist yet during the days of the founders. The primary two parties of the time were the Federalist Party (strong central government supporters) and the Democratic-Republican Party (decentralized gov supporters).
@alexcel88 @Chaoslord1848@Bartosz1944Pl@TatsuyaIshida9 I literally said moral or self interest. Neither France or the UK are just gonna surrender Europe to the Germans. Why the fuck would any major power ever just give in lmao.
@KQulin50493@BrentonCav49708@TatsuyaIshida9 The U.S. embargoed the Japanese and cut off nearly their entire fuel supply. As well as tons of exports of food. You can say the U.S. should have gotten involved military but pretending the U.S. did nothing to Japan pre Pearl Harbor is silly.
@OphidianRuins @TatsuyaIshida9 Respecting your neighbors is invading them apparently as the Japanese did in Korea, Manchuria, and eventually China proper. They were an imperial power that pretended they were anti imperialism and they got humbled as they deserved.
@alexcel88 @Bartosz1944Pl@TatsuyaIshida9 The war in the pacific wasn’t even fucking related to Danzig you idiot. Japan invaded China in 1937, 2 years before the invasion of Poland.
@alexcel88 @Chaoslord1848@Bartosz1944Pl@TatsuyaIshida9 He wanted to be the hegemon of Europe and conquer all of central and Eastern Europe. France and the UK would never just allow that to happen be it for moral reasons or simply self interest. He knew from the start he would have to crush them to do it.
