A mother in Gaza desperately tries to dry her tent after the heavy rains from last night. %90 of people in Gaza are displaced and live in tents due to the Israeli occupation forces deliberately destroying residential homes.
Since I moved back, I’ve so far heard of 3 previously-stable marriages/families ruined by Tariq Masood’s foul polygamy discourse.
Women’s happiness, as always, sacrificed at the altar of male lust and desire.
My oldest brother was arrested at an Israeli army checkpoint in August 2023, when he was on his way home from work and has been in Ofer Detention Camp without charges or trial ever since.
His wife gave birth to their baby while he was in prison, and to this day, he doesn’t even know the baby’s gender or name. Since October 7, 2023, all communication has been cut off, visits are banned, and the only updates we receive about him are through cellmates who are released.
‘Tiny broken bodies, rotting babies, flattened corpses, mass graves, levelled neighbourhoods. It is a spectacle of slaughter. All unfolding in plain sight, livestreamed by Palestinian citizens and journalists, witnessed by outsiders, and described by Israelis themselves.’
@NaPakistanii @rahatsk85 @the_stoic_life I think the 1st time I heard of the concept (not the term) because my sister thought (still thinks maybe?) that Shias lie that they are muslim while they are kafirs & are actively working to create sects among muslims. I find it funny that some Sunnis use it in that way.
You conveniently forgot who and what contributes to them being "unstable," but that doesn't fit your crafted narrative, so you are not going to mention it.
A lot of people lose faith, but "ex-Muslims" are different and craft their entire identity on not being Muslim, and hating Islam and tend to be unstable in my experience. 2/3
@labsurde__ It took 11 years for our application to be processed to come to the US. These people have no clue the amount of time and paperwork required for immigration.
@rikhtya Aww, your neighbor seems really nice . I had a high school chemistry teacher who practiced my name to make sure he got it right even though I told him it was ok. He is still my favorite teacher
With Elon Musk amplifying rumors about Taleb Al-Abdulmohsen - claiming he's secretly Muslim or practicing taqiyya - I want to provide context. Taleb appeared on BBC in 2019 (linked below), discussing his work helping Saudi atheists seek asylum abroad through https://t.co/MmUTDE2R1W. As someone born and raised in Saudi Arabia who left Islam at a young age, I spent time in these online circles as a teenager, and may have even briefly interacted with him.
Let me be clear: Taleb is not Muslim. He's not lying. He has no love for Islam whatsoever. Most people in these circles hold outright contempt for Islam, seeing it as a plague that destroyed their countries and upended their lives. His support for Israel stemmed from seeing it as a force against Islam. These communities (now primarily on Telegram) focus on advising atheists about escaping countries like Saudi Arabia. They particularly help young women, usually from middle to upper class backgrounds, navigate family dynamics (such as excuses to be allowed to travel to the West, i.e., competitions, school) and legal avenues to take once you are in a Western country. They advise each other on things like collecting evidence of persecution and being an atheist, as well as advice on what countries are the most likely to grant asylum.
Regarding his attack in Germany: I am not sure what he hoped to achieve with it, but here is what he believed as evidenced by his website and tweets. He believed Germany was too strict in granting asylum to Saudi atheists, effectively condemning them to death or religious persecution. He was frustrated that practicing Muslims were being granted asylum while what he saw as more deserving, values-aligned atheists were denied. He feared that Muslim migration to Germany would recreate the same oppression he fled from in Saudi Arabia.
Ofer Detention Camp is where my oldest brother is imprisoned and held under administrative detention without charges or trial—a cruelty in itself.
I recently received the devastating news that he has lost half of his weight and has been subjected to brutal torture.
This is the grim reality faced by countless Palestinian families, living with the unbearable torment of knowing their loved ones are held as hostages—dehumanized, brutalized, and stripped of dignity in Israeli prisons—while we are unable to do anything to ease their suffering.
