@SpeakerMcCarthy Disingenuous fool! You want to run Congress the way 45 wants to run elections. Don't like an election result or previously passed legislation? Just refuse to accept/ pay for it. Doesn't sound like democracy. In both cases, you nullify core principles of representative government.
@CNN@kaitlancollins I didn't watch the town hall, and I don't like that CNN aired this "trump mini-rally," but Kaitlan Collins did a great job, judging by the clips I saw. Please bring her direct language and no-BS approach to the rest of your reporting/interviews regarding Trump.
@CaptMarkKelly Agreed, for sure, but we need to stop thinking of this in terms of "saving the planet." What people don't fully get is that this is about saving the human species. Left unchecked, climate change will decimate humans. Then, the planet will recover. It survives with or without us.
Thank you, @HC_Richardson Today's post is an excellent recounting of post-Civil-War times and why we still struggle with the issues over which the war was fought. Let us learn from those times as we weigh the need for prosecution of Trump and the various Jan. 6 insurrectionists.
Literally none of this would be happening if white Democrats had voted like Black women in 2016. Hillary Clinton warned you about the courts, about Roe and about Trump and his racism, criminality and affinity for dictators. Turns out Hillary was right about everything.
@cleantechnica It appears that interconnection application processes and fees associated with the US electrical grid will severely impede efforts to add renewable energy to the US grid.

@NikkiHaley AlI I ever hear from Republicans is how much the Democrats and their policies and legislation suck. Do you have any actual policy alternatives or at least explanations as to what you would do differently?
And whatโs your plan?
Expanding the child tax credit? No
Universal healthcare? No
Universal basic income? No
Canceling student debt? No
Canceling medical debt? No
Supporting unions? No
Raising the minimum wage? No
Stop acting like yโall are about helping the working class.
@MeetThePress@Yamiche Or... it may look like the DoJ is doing its job by presenting the evidence in courts of law where judges and juries will do what they do in the case of all criminal defendants -- weigh the evidence and determine guilt or innocence. WTF is the matter with this doofus?
@ElieNYC@TheJusticeDept Yeah, seems like the Jan. 6 committee has done the hard part. Someone at DoJ just has to find the balls to stand up for America and the Constitution.
