I'm being so serious, if you're at this point, then you might as well trade Luka and just blow it up then. No way you think it's a good idea to wait until the dude is 30 years old to *maybe* start competing lmfaooo
The Austin contract discussion really brings out the dumbest Lakers fans ngl….
No idea what fair value is for him and putting out absurd numbers, saying let’s get a center instead so no one can dribble but Luka, people thinking just letting him walk is a good outcome 💀💀

Spurs coach Mitch Johnson: “I don’t really get into social media. I’ve probably been fired 212 times, and we’ve probably traded [De’Aaron] Fox 72 times. … People have their opinions. I don’t care. De’Aaron Fox will have the ball in his hands at the end of the game tomorrow.”
As a Knicks fan since May, it is really hard to see all these fakers come into my fandom. Like where were you when we beat the sixers? Where were you when we beat the cavs? In fact, where was I? Where am I?
The Lakers have been mentioned as a potential landing spot for two-time All-Star and pending UFA Nikola Vučević.
“With the Lakers looking to upgrade their frontcourt, acquiring a versatile, floor-spacing big man like Vucevic perfectly aligns with the team’s plans.”
“The Purple and Gold face a dire need to strengthen their big man rotation. Despite Deandre Ayton‘s potential, the center failed to display consistency over the season. Vucevic doesn’t necessarily promise this, but there is a better understanding of what he can offer, especially at this stage in his career.”
“L.A. may get real value in limited minutes.”
Yes or no to Vučević? 🤔

I get that bc of Wemby, having a floor spacing big is the fad of the moment, but whether that’s how the team should be structured or not, I’m just gonna say this…
I don’t think Luka even wants a floor spacing center, he wants a traditional big to set good screens and roll hard
The 1st team would entirely consist of guys who make you feel like "role player" is a bit of a disservice to what they actually do and provide on the court
Probably means its time for a new term to describe guys like this in the modern NBA
Might be a controversial opinion but I’m totally fine with refs not bailing out players who make dumb decisions in big moments that result in a low probability shot. And wanting to go one on one with OG at the cup with 10 seconds left checks all those boxes
It's not the entire reason but internal locker room politics are going to be a big part of why the Spurs lose this series because it's been obvious to most that Fox just has not had it as a 2nd option since returning from injury and Harper has been tremendous
Dylan Harper did not attempt a shot over the final 10 minutes of Game 4 as Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson kept running the offense through De’Aaron Fox instead.
Facing three must-win games in a row, it’s time to pull the trigger on handing the keys over to Harper as their 1B.
