On the left, you can be as woke as you want about race… until the quiet part slips out about who you actually want to date or live around. On the right, you can talk tough on borders and crime stats… but God forbid anyone notices the disproportionate number of flamboyant personalities in certain conservative circles (log cabin, trad, or otherwise).

The real comedy is how furiously each tribe insists their hidden contradictions are virtuous exceptions, and the other side’s are proof of total moral rot.
