.@LSUMensGolf was in last place late on Saturday, but the Tigers fire 18 under, one shot shy of tying the NCAA Championship record, to jump not only inside the top 15 but all the way to T-12 at 2 over, just three shots out of eighth. Amazing stuff.

Austin Eckroat and Davis Thompson were teammates on that victorious 2021 Walker Cup team at Seminole. Thompson actually teamed with Cole Hammer in the opening foursomes that week to beat Barclay Brown and Alex Fitzpatrick, the latter of whom had gone 2-2 at the 2019 Walker Cup at Royal Liverpool. Fitzpatrick would go 0-4 at Seminole, but now hoping for some revenge playing in the final group with Thompson and Eckroat today at Zurich.
