Today, we surprised my grandma (Jack’s mom) with tickets to see Nebraska take on IU in Bloomington.

It was a full circle moment as she cheered on the Huskers in-person for the first time since Jack graduated in 1982. How lucky am I to share this moment with her. GBR ♥️

A product of Muncie Central HS in Indiana, my uncle Jack went on to play basketball at Nebraska - starting a chain reaction that would lead me to UNL, 35 years later.

Jack tragically passed in 1984, but his legacy lives on as the namesake of Nebraska Basketball’s MVP award.
