@sammywoodhouse1 There was usually 6-8 young people in our care. I don’t know what these perpetrators said to these kids to make them leave the safety of the home but they went every time. I never opened the door to let them leave at 2&3am. If there was more money in social care maybe ,,, cont

@jchrist57239072 @nazirafzal State care is last resort. Families are given lots of support before placing kids in care. Teenagers are more difficult to place. Not enough foster placements. Residential care where I worked had 8 beds with 3 or 4 staff during the day and 2 night staff waking nights + managers

@nazirafzal Cont smash the fire alarm which would release the doors and they run anyway. We’d then inform the police who would respond ring us back at 3am and then 6am, soooooo much to say on this issue. Really can’t see the point in another enquiry though.
