After the brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk the right got the most direct demonstration of what time it is that you could imagine

And for a moment it looked like conservatives had finally gotten the message and would do what needed to be done to prevent more leftist terrorism

But mainstream conservative personalities quickly remembered that their real purpose is not to stop the left, but to police the right by shifting the news cycle to whatever shiny bauble the progressive media waves in their face

So instead of a unified message against leftist violence we got endless rounds of discussion about whether the lives of young conservatives should be destroyed over private jokes

The left is openly calling for, committing, and celebrating murder, but somewhere there may be young people making jokes in private, and even as our leaders are gunned down, this is what really matters to the controlled opposition

But the left doesn't care, they keep ramping up the violence, they keep calling for murders, and they aren't going to stop

So maybe, just maybe, everyone can stop obsessing over jokes in a group chat and actually focus on stopping political violence from the left
