This is a great clip for Lorne Doerkson.
Clear, direct and incredibly relatable.
It’s also exactly the kind of debate moment the NDP will be hoping doesn’t go viral tonight. Sometimes 30 seconds can tell you a lot about a campaign.
Stronger fire services start with strong training. Through the Fire Services Training Program Grant, communities like Hanna can enhance training opportunities for firefighters, helping them respond safely and effectively when Albertans need them most.
In 2027, Alberta’s Fire Services Training Grant has $500,000 in total grant funding to distribute to successful applicant organizations. Application deadline: November 2, 2026.

A full slate. One team. Every corner of BC.
Only one party can defeat the NDP and put BC back on track.
Conservatives are ready to deliver what our province needs: strong leadership for serious times.
It’s official! Elections BC has approved my candidacy in Vancouver-Quilchena.
I’ve spent years exposing government waste and fighting for taxpayers. Now I’m taking that fight to Victoria.
We have a team hitting the ground running.
See you at the doors.
Let’s get to work.
The Conservative Party of BC is ready to govern.
We have an incredible team of candidates ready to get to work to deliver the strong leadership our province needs in serious times.
On October 24th, vote Conservative.
I am deeply saddened by what happened in Tsawwassen this morning, and the reports that two people have passed away. I'm keeping their families and loved ones in my thoughts, along with everyone else who was injured. Thank you to the first responders who acted so quickly to care for the injured.
Today I announced that my Conservative government will take the PST off Canadian beer, wine and spirits.
This measure will benefit Canadian producers and save British Columbians money while they support local businesses.
Strong leadership for serious times. #bcpoli
The first time most British Columbians would have ever seen @LDoerkson was when a news crew stumbled upon him, as a first-term MLA, in the middle of a wildfire pitching in to help folks facing the flames.
Lorne Doerkson spent wildfire season updating his Cariboo constituents EVERY SINGLE DAY and helping people through it.
That’s what a Premier would do.
David Eby is using that crisis as a political metaphor to justify an early election.
Investing in the roads that keep our businesses and communities connected.
Through the Local Government Fiscal Framework, the County of Northern Lights is receiving $1,792,937 to rehabilitate local roads through gravel crushing, supporting safer, more reliable transportation for residents, farmers, and businesses across the county.
Strong core services start with the basics done right. Proud to see this funding go toward the infrastructure Albertans depend on every day.
There are no words that can accurately describe the admiration I have for Angelo.
He found himself in a situation where the politics of his province offered no good options for a better future, and by sheer force of will he created one.
He gave a voice and a home to a movement that I fully believe will save British Columbia from the destruction being thrust upon it by a radical government hellbent on using British Columbians as guinea pigs for their most depraved and radical experiments.
When they are finally removed from power, Angelo will be the person to thank.
Building the Conservative Party of BC has been the honour of a lifetime.
When I joined our party and stepped into my role in 2022, we were polling at two percent, had a broken website, old branding, no money in the bank and almost no members at all.
In just a few short years, we made history, surging to unprecedented support, presenting a powerful modern brand, fueled by the largest membership in the province, all under a multi million dollar organization.
Most importantly, we came within a hair of forming a majority government. From two percent to over forty in just a few years.
Serving as both Campaign Manager and Executive Director has been the highlight of my career. I owe a debt of gratitude to every single Conservative who joined our movement for common sense change. I am extremely proud of the movement we built and will continue to build.
Whether it was then or now, you are part of the future BC needs. After a decade of decline, the BC NDP has driven our province to the brink of total collapse.
Now, more than ever, Conservatives need to keep their focus on winning elections and forming a majority government. Focus Conservatives!
The Hon. Kerry-Lynne Findlay has a fresh mandate from our members and is leading our party into the next chapter. I wish her and her team the very best of luck. I leave on amicable and mutual terms.
I am excited for my next chapter, where I will continue fighting back against the radical policies that plague the western world, beyond just BC.
Hot off the presses! My latest in the National Post. I’m sure the comments will be eventful.
