@AmtrakNECAlerts Would you be able to confirm either here or in my DM that my rebook confirmation was successful. I still have not been able to speak to an agent.
@AmtrakNECAlerts I think I speak for everyone on trains 2271 and 139 when I say we would appreciate some form of compensation/reimbursement for this experience and the lack of communication on your end. Can’t even get a hold of an agent.
@AmtrakNECAlerts And now our train is cancelled. I wish we could have received any of the known issues with the route before heading to the station so all of us could have potentially made other arrangements. I am extremely disappointed with this experience.
@AmtrakNECAlerts Do you have any update on the progress of the track work in the New Haven and old say brook areas? The lack of information has been very disappointing
@AmtrakNECAlerts I’m not sure why any of this could have been communicated before the time of boarding. This tweet below was sent out 3 and a half hours before departure time. Instead our train’s status was “on time” the whole day:
@beltrunn@AmtrakNECAlerts Couldn’t agree more….our train 2271 out of BOS was “On Time” all day until the moment we set foot on the train. Then they tell us we are delayed with no specific info on why we’re delayed and any estimate on an ETA. I highly doubt they did not know about this before boarding
