I loved this moment during the Tony Awards opening number lol
Lea Michele (who didn't get a nod for Chess): We don't do it for the awards
June Squibb (the oldest acting nominee at 96): All the parts I've played, I've slayed 'em
Everyone: Leading Lady Marmalade!
hell yes to this acceptance speech from Qween Jean, who just became the first openly trans person to ever win a Tony
"We are here for the legacy of queer people. Trans people, we have to take up space. We have to shift the paradigm...the world right now is deeply, deeply combating so many ailments, and we know as a society that when we come together we can make real, permanent change."
Qween won Best Costume Design for a Musical for Cats: The Jellicle Ball
We've got camp, Queer love stories that don't always end in tragedy, new favorites, and the classics we know you came out for!

some people just don’t understand the cultural significance of a photo taken of your hand holding your theatre programme or playbill with the stage out of focus in the background.
We’ve legit lost the plot. I honestly have zero idea what people are looking for these days but there needs to be a major shift in criticism. The movies I saw were well written, well directed, beautifully shot, insanely well performed and the sound was amazing
