I've written two books, covering 50 strains of Green and 50 Strains of purple which analyze different chemical markers, the breeders, parent plants used, the aroma, reported effects as well as my own experience with them...

What you are saying has absolutely no basis. This goes far deeper than indica vs sativa...

As an example... Here is 18 different fruit flavors that can be found in cannabis with a few strains which they can be found;

1:Lemon: Jack the ripper,vortex
2:Lime: chernobyl, black lime
3:orange: cali o, tangie, orangegasm
4:Mango: green crack, mango mintality, somango
5:banana: banana og, primalf2
6:pineapple: upside down cake, c99
7:strawberry: cough, daiquiri, strawnana
8:grapefruit: sweet pink, grapefruit, 6mill, orangegasm
9: Papaya: green crack, papaya
10: raspberry; raspberry sour d
11: cherry: cherry pie, cherrygasm, cherrywine
12: apple: sour apple, apple fritter
13: grape: ape, purple punch, vp
14: blackberry: bb kush
15: blueberry: dj short, blueberry muffins, mob
16: peach: crescendo, afghan peach oni
17: cantaloupe: haze, goji og, shoreline,
18: passionfruit: pink runtz, somango, greencrack

So tell me again that strains don't matter or exist but I'll continue to not believe you and go with the genetics, and cannabinoid, terpene and other flavor and aromatic profiles which can be identified by lab testing or simply using them side by side.
