Observation of the formula to becoming really successful in business…
These are there skills you need:
1. Ability to build a product
2. Ability to sell
3. Great leadership to inspire people to join the mission and scale
If you have 1 you will do well. 1 & 2 you will be successful. Add 3 in there and you will be flying!!
People who don’t believe in you and tell you that you can’t do something, will be right 99% of the time, until the one time they are wrong. At that point they’ll be 100% wrong.
Thoughts on LEGACY?
Not sure I think there is such a thing. It’s all relative to the time perspective.
But, trying to achieve EPIC things, or live your life for your MISSION, or to help a BILLION PEOPLE, for the sake of it being a great life to live…that makes sense to me:
You get rich by taking huge risks with a small amount of money (investment).
You stay rich by taking small risks with huge amounts of money (investment).
Reflecting on what order would be best to learn key traits. Don’t think this is set in stone… as I live and learn this may change…
1. Discipline
2. Do (take action)
3. Vision & Self belief
4. Persistence
5. Patience
6. Empathy
7. Gratitude
8. Reflection
… work in progress
Discipline is what helps you make the right decisions when even when obstacles make it difficult. E.g. work travel = hard to stick to health routine.
No excuse:
- sunlight exposure
- zone 2 cardio + resistance training
- 20min sauna
- 3 min cold exposure
- Fast until after lunch
We sacrifice science at the altar of advocacy. When advising what is the best form of exercise for each person. Oversimplified, reductionist theories lead to more confusion, than clarity.
Research shows that Physical activity improves your work performance the next day. Better quality of SLEEP, more VIGOR, and gains in TASK FOCUS are the main benefits to work performance the day after exercising:

VR/AR has taken a while to catch on. IMO mainly because the headsets have minimised the attractiveness of using the technology in everyday life. The release of the Apple headset will change this. I talked about this on this podcast last year:

If you’re trying to build a fortress of a business, then focus on moving the big stones. You will build it much faster than if you worry about all the small stones at the expense of the big ones.
“There is no skill called 'business'; avoid business magazines and business classes.' Focus on real-world experience and learning from doing.”

A simple, effective addition to a supplement plan focused on healthspan is a senolytic such as Fisetin or Quercitin.
I’ve seen these have positive influence on biological age results (via epigenetics clocks), but of course check with your GP first.
Focusing on looking younger is not just about vanity.
It’s essential for health and longevity too.
Your skin is your largest organ in your body and has the largest number of senescent cells.
Chronic senescent cells are a hallmark for aging and negative to your health.
Current therapies are focused on elimination of senescent cell functions in three main ways: i) use of senolytics; ii) inhibition of SASP; and iii) improvement of immune system functions against senescent cells (immunosurveillance).
