Made a detailed financial look at each prem team and ranked them all based on 6 factors. I also projected this upcoming windows net spend, and 25/26 and 26/27 revenues for each team. Let me know if you have any notes to improve this https://t.co/CPM2bUhyUa
@matty1@Mzo_honcho@vfx_design@NicholasJLevi Ok, let’s make a deal. Even odds, 10K put up each. If the odyssey makes more or less than 200 million United States dollars at the global box office? If it goes over 200 million I win the bet, if it goes under 200 you win the bet.
17th placed team just spent £185m on midfielders who are nowhere near BITW level and people genuinely honestly in their heart don't think the bubble will burst on this sport
@JoshNorris You are probably right about 60 mil being too low compared to the market. But the reason even compared to the market it can’t clear 80-85 is I know his limitations for sure. Roger’s works best with a lot of space which he’d see more as a Villa player than world class club.(1/2)
@JoshNorris Villa call him top 5 and value him over 115 mil fee right?
Hes a good player and should be valued from 60-80 mil depending on who’s buying. And the reason I think I can justify this compared to other fees is the non prem high fees technically have “upside” I know what rogers is
@AnthonyDabbundo@cappin_jackson Portugal was always so overrated to me, horrible manager and midfield not as important to winning as the masses make it out to be, especially with some really bad flaws in the squad
Jude Bellingham is englands best player. At the very least you should think he’s a top 3 player for them. Yet the media constantly attacks him and disrespects him. I hope that country embraces him soon
Jaylen brown is a great example of opportunity cost. nba teams don’t view him highly as an asset because in order to trade for him you are hampering your teams depth and/or ability to get a different high caliber player. And for the profile of Jaylen brown that’s not worth it
@AnthonyDabbundo I had this take before the wc but I think I’m being proven right: Yamal is clearly playing injured to where it massively affects him, not to mention no Nico on the left is a huge hole, I just can’t put Spain first with their current injuries.
