And I hosted their first ever company-wide, post-acquisition get together.
Boomwhackers, awards and the CEO dancing a jig only begin to sum up what a special and heart-warming day it was - like the ladies who spoke daily for 9+ years and met in person for the first time! 💫
I arranged for our CEO and a branch manager to battle it out on Radio 2’s On the Ball quiz, with a ‘day in the life of’ up for grabs (result = our CEO went back to the floor 🤪)
Colleague engagement was sky high, and we even got new walk ins as customers heard us on the radio 💫
Another good deed - we provided all the paint (and some helping hands) for Children In Need’s DIY SOS project.
We did it for the warm fuzzy feeling, but yes we did get on the telly too 🤪
It was an HONOUR to be part of it 💫
We upped their game at the main industry trade show, with a bigger stand and clearer (and more colourful) messaging. Even hosted a thought leadership session.
Smashed all previous KPIs for leads and engagement. And I met an actual Dulux dog, so wins all round 💫
Those that know me, will know I love a good deed - and so we turned PaintWell pink for breast cancer awareness.
We designed and sold limited edition pink T-shirts, with all profits to the charity. Achieved a good bit of positive PR coverage and chatter amongst customers too 💫
I also oversaw the rebranding of their branches after acquisition. They “let” me add a new pop of colour, which each manager was allowed to choose from a set palette. Footfall rocketed as branches stood out and it became clear what they sold - colourful paint!
I reviewed the colleague comms and engagement at an independent paint merchant, introducing a weekly email bulletin, a monthly newsletter (sent complete with tea and biscuits) and their first ever company-wide conference 💫
