Michael Kirby: "I urge university administrators to do what they can, within the law, to revive financial and other support for student affairs." #uaconf2020
@MayneReport Thanks Stephen for your support. Squash is such a wonderful sport and councils across the country need to step up to support it. Let’s show @WilloughbyCity how it can lead the way.
Squash is a great sport & councils should do more to support it. Can't think of another sport that gets less council support than squash, which will be back in the Olympics in 2028.
At the very least, Willoughby Council should save this 50 year facility:

In this age of AI, let’s remember that first and foremost it still stands for Academic Integrity.
If Tracey were with us today, I am sure she would have a lot to say on the topic.

Enjoying this #NSWHEsummit with @KiftSally and @MerlinCrossley and others on this panel. Great points by @ProfAstroSarah re the impact of remote working and AI on higher Ed.
And last, well done to the panelists sitting in the right order under the slide!
What a week for Studiosity. First we received recognition from The Australian Financial Review of our success as an exporter of Aussie edtech. Then, to cap it off, EducationInvestor awarded us Digital Platform of the Year. Might be a good idea to take a d…https://t.co/Z65k1LAKk0
I’m biased, of course, and I am also a long time podcast connoisseur. I wholeheartedly recommend this Episode 50 of Reimagining the Future of Higher Education.
Well done, Cliff Allan! https://t.co/XSntuWz1aL
It's been a long and humbling journey. Edtech is a notoriously challenging sector, and building an Aussie export success story is rare, and thus particularly meaningful. This story could not have happened without an incredible team of colleagues, investor…https://t.co/xWXBuOcl12
At the student experience panel @kjnnelson speaks about the importance of personalising the student experience at scale and to work closely with edtechs to achieve that. #UAconf2023
Shadow education minister Sarah Henderson says unis should give refunds when found to have delivered substandard courses. Seems unlikely she’ll get a standing ovation when she finishes up. #uaconf2023
Minister @JasonClareMP says this will be a year for big ideas. We live in exciting times - he has laid out big ambitions for the Government. #UAconf2023
These are the big issues for the Universities Accord, according to Prof. Mary O’Kane. Looks like everything is on the table. Exciting times for those who are brave! #UACONF2023
Visit our team today @uniaus Conference, chat to some of our Academic Advisory Board or a student from @ANUmedia about how Studiosity helps. Or just take a break in a comfy chair. #UAconf2023
I’ve spent much of the summer thinking and reading about the latest developments in general AI and their impact on higher education. Here’s where I’ve landed. https://t.co/vsCONP6wCc
@LindaCorrin@davidlinke Thanks for sharing this perspective. Partnering can require bravery and it almost always yields insights. Venturing into the unknown is how we learn.
What an enjoyable session. Thanks @holoniq for the opportunity to discuss the state of HE in Australia. My thoughts are best captured in this recent article. https://t.co/Ms0zVhLLGC
Thanks, @CFieldAssoc for backing me up regarding the need for universities to re-focus attention on the student experience. The @qilt_src data tells a critical story. We need to read it, study it, and act on its implications. #HolonIQSummits

I spoke about the challenges facing the HE sector and referenced this piece in the AFR. Let's start a conversation.
