Launching through the Believe app was an experiment in “internet capital markets.” The lesson I learned: the crypto community is mostly wired for meme coins + fast flips, while real products take time and focus. That mismatch made it unsustainable.
A few Myku updates!
We have me and 2 other devs working around the clock on feature work to get the app in a great place to start onboarding users at scale. The features we will release in the next few days are:
1. Universal links - when a user shares a photo via iMessage it will open that post In the app instead of directing to our website
2. App clip - this is major and will be our primary growth and onboarding driver. This will let people who don’t even have the app downloaded yet to create a Ku and then download the app!
3. CryptoKus filter - turn your selfie into a cryptopunk! we’re moving beyond only haikus and building the infrastructure to be a lofi Snapchat. That has always been the vision.
4. Utility - huge things in the next week or 2 there.
Dynasties aren’t built on fair weather fans. Things take time but we’re grinding building something real.

The goal is to push out some really big updates this week to the App Store. We’ve been working around the clock on some of these changes. Excited to get people onto the new version. 👀
The Dev team just finished the notification sheet, and universal links to set the foundation for our app clip. The app clip will help dramatically with onboarding new users. All of these changes will give us the best chance of success so we can start pushing harder on marketing.
